Losing a loved one is always difficult and having to deal with the practicalities as well as your own grief can be overwhelming. Organising the administration of your loved one’s estate may feel like a long and difficult task, but we are here to provide you with the support and guidance through this difficult time.
When you are ready, we can be contacted by whichever method suits you and we can discuss the available options. It is unlikely that we will need any documents so please do not send anything to us at this stage.
To update policies that belonged to a loved one, there are some details we may require:
- The person who has passed away
- The vehicle registration number
- The postcode and address on the policy
- Your contact details
After receiving notification that a Policyholder has passed away, we will:
- Stop all promotional correspondence being sent
- Amend existing policies to reflect the change in circumstances
- Record the Executor details
We also accept notifications from Life Ledger, who are a free notification service that simplifies the administrative process. The Life Ledger platform allows you to contact multiple companies connected with the deceased and avoid the need to approach them individually.
